Josh “Roach” Conde is a skilled tattoo artist at IrieZona with 7 years of experience, specializing in black and gray, photo realism, micro realism, and anime/comic art, while also dabbling in color. As a 3rd generation artist, tattooing runs in his blood—both his father and grandfather were tattoo artists. From a young age, Josh’s love for drawing naturally evolved into a passion for tattooing, and he completed a 3-year apprenticeship at Rebel Ink, where he honed his craft. Josh draws much of his inspiration from legendary artist Keith Haring, whose passion and impact on the art world left a lasting impression. This influence can be seen in Josh’s dedication to his work and the care he takes to create unique, personalized tattoos for each client. He ensures that every piece has a touch of his own style while fostering an experience full of laughter and stories. One of his favorite ongoing projects is a half-sleeve and chest piece featuring a Frost Dragon, complete with over 1,000 carefully detailed scales. The challenge of blending vibrant blue tones has made it a project Josh is particularly proud of. Dragons, in fact, are one of his favorite subjects to tattoo. Outside of the studio, Roach is an avid gamer and movie enthusiast, and he’s always up for a conversation about firearms and everyday carry (EDC).
